We are Building and House Removal Professionals who also specialise in buying and selling used houses which can be relocated directly to your site, repiling, lifting houses for basements and the like. We insure all of the buildings we shift and also offer an optional in-house design service which can help in obtaining your Council consents if you wish.

In 1896, George Jack shifted his first building, in doing so founded the oldest building removal company still in operation in New Zealand today. We are proud to carry on the JACK family name with third and fourth generations currently involved.

New parking area upgrade at the yard

We are in the process of upgrading the rest of our driveway and parking area (yay!). This will take a while so please take extra caution in coming into our yard. Please avoid parking near the digger and truck by the office, there is space to park your vehicle in front of the office. You will need to come straight into the office to get a high visibility jacket to walk around the yard, and sign in on our register.

We are back!

Great news everyone

We now have our 'old' numbers back for Jack House Transit. This happened this morning and we are excited to been slightly back to normal. Thanks a bunch Lightwire for helping us out.

Kahikatea Office and New Office Information

Hi Everyone

With the exciting time of moving to Quentin Drive, there has been a few changes since last. Unfortunately the access ways to the Kahikatea Office have changed, so we ask everyone to please drive in via Quentin Drive, follow the path all the way around to the front of the office and park as normal in the parking spaces. This will be in effect until the beginning of February 2016. During this time, we do ask for patience, especially since we are still moving offices, so please bare with us for the time being.

On February 1st, 2016 Jack House Transit Ltd will be reopening in our new office located on 21 Quentin Drive. There is a new driveway that has been built in which Bunnings and ourselves will be using. We still will be open the same times from 8.30am - 5.30pm weekdays.

We look forward to seeing you in our new premises!
